Day 9

First meal: SPie

Not much I can say at this point other than I'm getting used to the damn taste.

Second meal: RBChilli

So yummy! A pleasure to eat, which compensates for the occasional indigestion this gives me.

I know it's not recommended to end the day on two meals, so I'll probably have either a DChocB or butterscotch thingy later.

Drink: Mint tea

Third meal: Exante's Cherries and Berries shake (Future ref: CnB shake)

Ok, so I changed my mind, decided to try the only pack I have of the CnB shake. I'm generally not fond of shakes, so I ordered only one or two packs of several types out of curiosity, not because I'm fond of shakes. This one, well... it's extremely pink. Not a light pastel pink either, but a darker pastel pink that's a few shades darker than cotton candy but the same sorta pink. You know what I mean. It tastes as pink as it looks... which is to say, pretty damn sweet and you can taste the berry and cherry in it, though nothing resembling actual fruit, mind you. More like the candy version of aforementioned fruit. Anyway, it's sweet, very pink and I suppose it'll do for dinner tonight, as I'm supposed to hit the bed early (pfft, like since when has that ever happened?) and wake up six-ish hours later for my next shift. Not my usual time, but I've taken over a colleague's shift as a favour to them, hence the evening-morning shifts. Eh well, it's just this once. I can live with it.

Despite vigorous shaking, the shake was still slightly lumpy and there were bits stuck to the bottom of my makeshift shaker (a Starbucks hot drink tumbler) which may be a bit difficult to clean. Meh.

Am glad I don't have to drink more of this pink goo though admittedly it didn't taste bad. Just really sweet, and I think I've mentioned before I try not to sweeten my drinks too much, so am unused to such sweetness, especially after days of unsugared green and mint tea.
