Day 21 - Mail
Got mail I've been expecting, yaay!
Made myself do the resistance band workout coz I've skipped for a couple of days. Now to cool down and eat my first meal in half an hour or so.
First meal: Exante's Honeycomb shake (Future ref: Hc shake)
Wow, this is delicious... so nummy! It reminded me of this yummy honeycomb ice cream I've had in the past. The first shake I actually liked! Too bad I only bought two of these, but I kinda had a feeling I might like it (I only bought one of most shake flavours coz I'm not a fan of shakes), which is why I have another pack of this to look forward to.
Snack: Vietnamese beef broth
My friends wanted to eat at a Vietnamese eatery and I can't eat anything there despite the delicious smells. *sob* However, I realise I could get a small bowl of soup with no nothing in it to sip on. I figured it'd fall under the 1 stock cube a day or 1 tsp Marmite/Bovril sorta thing. Anyway, it was a little oilier than I expected and had a generous amount of coriander and spring onion floating on top... neither which I eat, so I gave them to my friends. There wasn't anywhere for me to dispose of the oil on the surface of the broth tho, so I just sipped about half a cup of it. I figured I should stop there and there wasn't much of it left anyway. The broth was very flavourful, definitely a flavour explosion. I could taste the beef and hints of the spices that went into the soup. It was rather salty too. Anyway, since I ate nothing and only had about half a bowl of this, I don't think it'll take me out of ketosis.
Second meal: Exante's Chocolate Orange meal replacement bar (Future ref: ChocOr bar)
Not bad, but not cold by the time I got around to eating it. Tasted fine, chocolate-orangey and crunchy. I ate it while watching Justice League, lol.
Third meal: SPie
Back to something boring. I'm just trying to get though as many SPies and TDins as possible... it feels like a chore eating them at times, to be honest... Repeat to self: Lesson learnt, never order 50 packs of anything before at least trying it out first.
Oh, I should put a note that it's my third weigh-in tomorrow! O_O One feels apprehensive about it. It doesn't seem like I've lost much weight, but I guess we'll see.
