Day 56
First meal and second: Steamed fish with cauliflower
Not the funnest meal ever since mum has a tendency to oversteam the bloody fish. I want it just cooked and tender, but no, it's dry as heck, which I hate. HATE. Also hate the fact that I'm eating it with just half a tsp of soy sauce, which mean it doesn't taste all that great. I have another serving for dinner and I'm thinking of adding some Marmite and pepper to the soy sauce with a little water to make a better sauce.
However, before I sound like a totally ungrateful daughter, I do appreciate the fish and veg. I just am not fond of my mom's style of cooking it, but it gives me a break from all the Exante food.
For my second meal, I mixed up a sauce of about 1/8th tsp Marmite, 1 tbsp soy sauce, pepper and 1/8th tsp sugar.
Third meal: Pork broth with porky bits
