Day 49 - Thoughts
Well, I'm at the end of week 7 now, a week past halfway point in the 12 weeks of the programme. I don't think progress is as promising but that's partly my fault. Another weigh-in due tomorrow, and yes, I confess I have had outside food, which I'm not supposed to, although I'm not idiotic enough to throw away all my effort by eating lots of carbs. I do watch what I eat even if I'm not having Exante meals. Not much of an excuse but meh...
Speaking of which, if I still have products left over after 12 weeks, I'll probably extend it to 20 weeks depending on how much weight I've lost. We'll see. However, due to certain unavoidable obligations during CNY, I may have to take a break after 12 weeks is over and resume it after CNY. With careful eating, of course. No point undoing weeks of eating these stuff.
Due to general insomnia and cramps lately, I haven't done much exercise. Will probably pick up once I'm at my parents' and sister's places.
First meal: Exante's Berry Flavour Yoghurt & Muesli
Only bought one pack of this. Not bad, I guess? Berry-ish pink, thick and has muesli and dried berry bits in it. The dried berries are chewy but have a tendency to stick to one's teeth.
Second meal: Exante's Beef and Black Bean pot meal (Future ref: BBB pot)
I like these instant pot meals, but they are pricier. This tastes ok, it's not bad, especially with a helping of black pepper and Tabasco sauce. Not my fav, but the convenience is good.
Incidentally, I've been drinking a lot of green tea, mint tea and such, but haven't bothered recording them because they are essentially just part of the water I drink every day. Just pretend I wrote about the teas I'm drinking. :รพ
Am seriously pondering not having my third meal today... maybe just Marmite soup? I just don't really feel like any of the meals.
Third meal: Exante's Maple Granola Cereal (Future ref: Maple cereal)
I only bought one of this, and it has the same chewy dried froot bit and granolo, except I'm fond of maple and it's not quite as thick a the berry yoghurt muesli. I'd eat this again. The dried fruit bits are annoying but not enough to prevent me from getting more of this as it's an easy meal and well, it doesn't suck. I should've done this from the start... try only a few packs before committing to 50 of any type and repenting at leisure. Oh well.
Also, I guess it's cereal/granola day? These are the only two breakfast-y packs in the new box. Hopefully a technician will drop by tomorrow to fix my microwave and I'll be able to use it again.
